Affordable and undestroyable – the Rogue Stubby Axle.
We bought this piece of steel for outdoor workouts, traveling and just because we love barbells. We tested it intensively throughout the holidays and here are our thoughts on it:
Because of its length, the stubby axle is the perfect travel-solution as it fits in almost every size of car (We would say).
Thanks to its coding the axle bar is resistant to sand, little rocks and dirt. This makes it the perfect outdoor barbell.
Axle bars are technique bars, because of their diameter. The wider diameter forces you to a wider grip, which is perfect for grip strength. You can use it for cleans, snatches, squats, lunges and all kinds of press or push movements.
It does not serve the same purpose like an olympic barbell or a powerlifting barbell, but it is a nice addition for any gym for a decent price! 👌🏽
